And if suppose his stop reaches before the conductor come to the first seat, he might get down also without taking the ticke. May be the logic works for long route buses not in local town buses. However, the conductor can count the number of people boarded, and number of tickets he issued easily. If you can observe him little more patiently, you could have noticed it.
